Winery Fun

Despite the fact that I have lived in northern California for the majority of my life, I had never found my way into a winery until earlier today.

It was actually an unplanned. I was having lunch with a good friend in Livermore when she suggested we hit a couple up. There were no objections on my part.

Prior to our outing, I was more a fan of sweeter white wines than I was of reds.

No longer, though. Reds at Steven Kent Winery have made a fan out of me.

  2. You have to love this beautiful Northern California Wine Country! Generally, I'm very much so a Beach girl, but I can definitely appreciate the countrysides in Napa and Sonoma. There's something very...'romantic' about them. I've been to a few wineries, but I've not done any wine-tasting yet! And I turned 21 in December! I'm so behind! Lol!

Thanks for sharing your beautiful photos <3

  5. I'm definitely a sweet-whites kinda girl when it comes to wine. Maybe I'll just HAVE to visit a winery to broaden my alcohol horizons.

    Pretty pictures, as per :)

  9. Winery visits are so much fun. Did you go to Wente? If not, I recommend a visit sometime. The on-site restaurant is ridiculously amazing. I've always been a fan of bold red wines... it kind of sucks since a lot of my friends prefer fruity whites, so we can never split a bottle or anything!

  10. You know, I didn't go to Wente! I believe we did pass by it though. I'll have to make a visit on the way back.

  13. J'adore! Wine tasting - how perfectly grown-up! I need to do something like this soon as it sounds like a great way to spend a couple of hours and yes, why not do it with good wine in hand ;)

Now I nominate you for the award, hoping that you get busy with your blog again!!!
